WHAT BRAND ARE YOUR EXTENSIONS?
We use Bohyme which are luxurious 100% Remi human hair. They can be colored and cut anyway you would like.
ARE THE EXTENSIONS SEWN IN?
The technique that we use is by installing the wefts to your hair by beading + sewing the wefts to your natural hair.
HOW MANY WEFTS DO YOU GET?
Per row you get 2-4 wefts, depending on the clients natural thickness. You can add up to 3 rows.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
You will need to get your extensions moved up every 8 to 12 weeks. Which will vary depending on your natural growth. From there on our you will come in to have the rows moved up rather than purchasing new hair each time. The hair can last up to a year if cared for properly.
WHAT IS THE UPKEEP LIKE? ARE THEY HARD TO WASH? HOW OFTEN DO YOU WASH?
We recommend that you wash your hair only 1-2x a week. If you're someone who loves to wash their hair consistently hand-tied extensions aren't for you! It is also very important that you invest in quality shampoo + conditioner. Drug store brands contain detergents and harsh chemicals like, sodium chloride + ammonium lauryl sulfate which only compromise the integrity of your extension. A weekly hair mask is a must, and always spraying in a leave-in conditioner after each shower.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET IN AND OUT?
-The removal process takes only 5-10mins.
-Just for the installation of the hair 30 mins to an hour.
-If we are coloring your natural hair and extensions +installation the entire process will take up to 5 hours.
DO THEY DAMAGE YOUR HAIR?
Out of all the different types of extensions this type is the LEAST damaging technique, if no damage at all.
